Class 113 Cravens Hydraulic

Cravens produced a batch of 50 2 car sets with a single Rolls-Royce eight cylinder engine in each car. The first 25 had standard mechanical transmission, whereas these later 25, had hydraulic transmission. In addition to this, they carried a large 4 digit indicator box above the front cab windows that also incorporated the destination blind. As a non-standard DMU, they were candidates for an early withdrawal.

No RTR model is available, but MTK did make a kit of the Class 113. I would quite like to model one of these units, possibly using a Class 105 as a basis.
