This iconic train from the 1960's has been the subject of a number of models. Tri-ang were quick to produce a RTR model, although only with two power cars and one trailer. They were available in the original Nanking Blue or later reversed Blue/Grey. Kitmaster produced a plastic kit of the Blue Pullman. The Power Cars, Midland Kitchen and Midland Parlour cars were available, all in Nanking Blue.

Etched brass sides were also available to convert the Tri-and Hornby trailer cars to other versions.

Bachmann finally produced a RTR model of the full six car Midland Pullman. The model is excellent with two powered driving motor cars and trailer cars with working table lamps. Two liveries were produced, original Nanking Blue and with the later yellow front.

Those of us who are Western Region fans will just have to pretend the two 6 car Midland Pullmans have been recently transferred!
